Our OOTD (Office of the Day) is Cargo, the most picturesque store in Portland. Cargo showcases works by local artists and makers, so throw some support their way.

The Art’s Hustle: we talk to two Portland artists about what it means to be a working artist, how Portland is conducive to creativity and supportive of artists, their day-to-day challenges, and how they subsidize their passions.

First up on the couch we have Michuri Kagawa the incredible artist, designer, and stylist behind ikiiki creative, who also happens to be the Merchandising Manager at Cargo.

And then we speak to one of our favorite triple-threats (actor / singer / dancer), and the STAR of the upcoming Kinky Boots production at the Winningstad Theatre, Michael Hammerstrom. (Kinky Boots runs from March 8 - 31, 2024.)
